What is wrong with young boys today? - It seems to me after looking out for it that young boys (16-21 years) around here are a mess. The reason I started to take notice is that my nephew just graduated high school and was having lots of problems with his parents about what to do after high school.
In his case he was one of the top football players at his school and could of got into a 4-year collage. His problem is that he needed to take an English class at the local junior collage during his last semester in high school to qualify. For some reason he blew it off, no motivation. I personally couldn’t understand it. The kid is smart enough, but zero motivation. I also noticed that on the football field he was aggressive, aggressive to the max, but outside of football very little aggression or motivation, in fact a borderline whiner. Then it dawned on me it might be a lack of confidence. But how can someone have confidence in himself in a sport like football, but no confidence in anything else?
So I started paying attention to other young boys, and it seems like you have to look pretty hard to find a young boy that exhumes confidence. At the local Yardbirds (a hardware store) I noticed that the young boys there were wimpy, snivelly and whiney, not just one of them, all of them. They young girls on the other hand were cheerful and helpful. What is going on here?

Young men lead audience flight from struggling US cinemas - Thats what the headline says. I say no shit. So much of the movies and TV being produced today suck, really suck. They are not providing what a young man wants to see.
During world war II or soon after, movies were patiotic and full of heros. They killed Japs and Krauts, they put it on the line, they did what they had to do to protect their country. Can you see movies today about killing terrorists? Maybe, Palistinian or Syrian terrorists? Not if you don't want CAIR breating down your back. Studios have folded and changed poplular stories (ie. "Sum of All Fears" replaced Arab Terrorists with Neo-Nazi Terrorists).
Young men in America see through all this PC feminized feltercarb and look elsewhere. I say good riddans to Hollywood, produce some content for America and not Europe and we will come back.

U.N. Delegates Await Translation of Bush Remarks - This is just another example of Bush's arrogance. How dare he actually say what he means to the international community:
(2003-03-06) — Most United Nations delegates withheld comment on U.S. President George Bush’s news conference
tonight, preferring to wait for a printed translation of his remarks.
“It’s not that we didn’t understand his words,” said Secretary-General Kofi Annan, “Most of us speak English. But we are confused because his remarks were almost totally lacking in nuance and subtlety. We’re waiting for someone to give us a more complicated version of it.”
Mr. Bush said that Saddam Hussein should disarm or the U.S. and her allies would disarm him, and that the U.N. should vote yes-or-no on whether Iraq has complied with Security Council Resolution 1441.
“We at the U.N. are not accustomed to hearing people say what they mean,” said Mr. Annan. “This will take us some time to digest and interpret. Perhaps a committee-of-the-whole could examine the transcript for several months.”

Never Forget 9/11 -
I will always remember 9/11 as the start of WWIII which people are now calling (more accurately) WWIV. No matter how the USA handled the situation, buy going head on into battle in Afganistan and Iraq, or by pulling inward and doing nothing; it wouldn't of changed the fact that WWIV has started.
I do however think that facing the enemy in his own lands is a much better way to go. Yes innocents get killed, but better theirs then ours. I see no other way to do it, the only other option is to turn inward and make the US an inpenetrable fortress and this will never happen.
For those out there that wish harm to the USA I have one thing I want you to do.
Die!

Hyper Sensitive 'Politics' in California - Why I say this is politics is it seems certain "Groups" only get hypersensitive against certain other groups. Personally I think that the whole politically correct speech thing has got to go and the people that can't handle it need to take sensitivity training because they are too dam sensitive.
P.P
Over here we have "Gay Right Avocates Jumping in In" over Arnolds 1977 interview where he used the word "FAG". This is so GAY I can't believe it, A) in 1977 FAG didn't have the stigma it has today B) in context even today I don't see what the problem is, would of it been more politically correct for him to replace fag with gay?
If you don't think we have a liberal biased media this should convince you that we do.
Moreover, Cruz Bustamante seems immune for his "Nigger" outburst, which was written off as a slip of the lip, and that he doesn’t think that way. But then it comes out that Cruz was a member of the Hispanic KKK called MEChA (a racist Hispanic group that hates all except Hispanics), so maybe it was a slip of the lip and maybe he does think that way. Though he said he was only a moderate member of MEChA (How would being a moderate member of the KKK fly?) he still says he
supports there ideals today.

Warren Buffett on California Taxes - So old Warren Buffett (a Democrat) has this to say about California taxes (some of the highest in the USA):
"The truth is California has got some very serious financial problems," Buffett told the paper. "It's an economy that's the size of France and there's no way the US is going to have a healthy economy if California continues to have the problems it has..."
So now he is comparing us to France and wanting to raise taxes. We may just become France with it's runaway illegal immigration that doesn't integrate into the economy, Full Social Benefits for anyone who doesn't want to work and Outrageous business climate for anyone who doesn't want to pay off the politicians.
It’s just what we need to be like the French.

Poverty in the USA - I keep hearing about poverty in the US. What does poverty mean in this context? Poverty in the US in the year 2003 is not the poverty of 1930’s or even the 1970’s. 99.99999% of all immigrants to the US that live in “poverty” are “rich” compared to where they came from. This reminds me of the soviet propaganda film that showed the “American poverty”, it completely backfired since most of the soviet citizens looked at “America poverty” with its enough food, clothing, housing and even cars as a much better lot then they had.
If you want to know poverty, just go to a country like Denmark. Work hard, try to make something of yourself, now look to your left, see that slacker that does as little as possible? He makes 90% as much money as you do. Now that is real poverty.

Did The Housing Bubble Just Burst? - Did the Housing Bubble Just Burst? 10-10-2005 1:43 am
I'm getting the feeling that it has just happened. The number of price lowering and reductions has increased 50% this weekend. The 'new on the market' has exploded to spring time levels as everyone is trying to get in before it ends. The general feeling is slowdown.
Add this to the newest trend, 100% financing with interest only loans, to tap the last possible borrowers (and the riskiest), and possible a final short lived rise in prices. No bank in there right mind would of made these types of loans even 5 years ago because of the risk. Is there a coming banking crises also? Is this going to be a repeat of Texas in the '80's?
This is in North Bay Area in California, which in historical perspective laggs the rest of the bay area by 6 months, but the cracks are forming. Coming soon in your area?

10. Gas costs $1.00 per gallon more than anywhere else in the U.S.

Most Corrupt Political Leaders of the Year -
Judicial Watch’s Dirty Dozen
The 12 Most Corrupt Politicians, Lobbyists and Business Leaders of 2002
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announces its top ten list of the most corrupt politicians, government officials, lobbyists and business leaders of 2002.
#1 Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY): Like a modern-day Gollum, Mrs. Clinton’s quest for political brass rings frequently descends into evil, from Whitewater to FBI Filegate to Travelgate to taking over 2 million dollars in illegal contributions for her Senate campaign from Judicial Watch client Peter Paul. Judicial Watch’s quest is to throw her ring into the judicial “Cracks of Doom.”
#2 Bill Clinton (D): The “King of Corruption” for eight tawdry years, Judicial Watch looks forward to taking Mr. Clinton’s testimony under oath in the Dolly Kyle Browning vs. Clinton case and many others.
#3 Fmr. FBI Director Louis Freeh (R): The most corrupt and inept FBI Director in the history of the agency, Freeh recently suffered a blow from the Supreme Court, refusing to acknowledge his claim of immunity in a lawsuit filed by JW on behalf of Fmr. Energy Department Director of Intelligence, Notra Trulock.
#4 Jesse Jackson (D): Judicial Watch sued the so-called “Reverend” Jesse Jackson, his son Jonathan and others for alleged civil rights violations and assault and battery on behalf of conservative black activist Rev. Jesse Lee Petersen.
#5 Congressman Richard Gephardt (D-MO): Judicial Watch sued Gephardt & his campaign staff for alleged assault, civil rights violations and abuse of process and other wrongdoings on behalf of Bill Federer, who ran for and nearly won, Gephardt’s seat in 2000.
#6 DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe (D): Parlayed $100,000 into 18 million dollars in the bankrupt Global Crossing. JW is suing McAuliffe over his alleged shady ties with Global Crossing.
#7 Fmr. IRS Commissioner Charles Rossotti (R): Used the Internal Revenue Service as a political weapon that would have made even Richard Nixon proud.
#8 Sen. Trent Lott (R-MS): A supreme embarrassment to the nation even before his recent foot-in-mouth statement at Strom Thurmond’s 100th birthday, Lott was instrumental in making the impeachment trial of Bill Clinton a total joke.
#9 Sen. Robert Torricelli (D-NJ): Like “The Godfather’s” Senator Geary, “The Torch” couldn’t find an offer or a big-screen TV that he couldn’t refuse. His corrupt career on Capitol Hill presently sleeps with fishes.
#10 Sen. Tom Daschle (D-SD): Judicial Watch has filed FOIA requests to uncover Sen. Daschle and his wife Linda’s role in the selection of faulty bomb detecting equipment for the airline industry.
#11 Fmr. Enron CEO Kenneth Lay: The disgraced “Kenny-Boy,” used investors money in Enron like his own personal cookie jar, playing the fiddle while this Houston-based company burned.
#12 Congressman Henry Waxman (D-CA): For his tireless efforts to obstruct justice whenever Democrat wrongdoing is involved.
Honorable Mention:
Congressman Tom DeLay (R-TX): “The Hammer” smashed his thumb when he tried to sell White House access to contributors a la Lincoln bedroom-style.(view)
Which would be better a Republican or Democrat Country - Which would be the most successful?
Take all the people that voted for Bush, and all the people that voted for Gore and split them into two countries. Wait 5 years, 10 years, 25 years. Which country would be more powerful, successful and a better place to live?
Of course I have my opinion. I don't think it would even be close. 25 years out the Democrat Country would be a failed social experiment ala Argentina. The Republican country would be a strong great place to live with little unemployment, probably much stronger than the current USA today.

Why Lott Shouldn't Have Apologized - I was going to let the latest media frenzy over Trent Lott pass over, but it seems that the media, Democrats and the Black political leadership won’t let go so I’m going to comment.
First I think Lott is a weak leader, and I think that the Republicans deserve better in their leadership. Some of the deals he has cut with Daschle are unforgiveable. But this isn't about that.
I listened to his statement and no where did he say he supported the segregationist platform. The media inferred all this. The real mistake that Trent Lott made was to apologize, this gave credence to all of the media claims, Lott is a fool for doing this. Every time a conservative feels he has to apologize for something, most of the time when they did nothing wrong, it makes the situation worse. The Democrats and the Media use an apology for fuel and nothing more.
There is also the Nov. 3, 1980, report about a rally for the president Reagan where Lott said basically the same thing about Thurmond. But it is obvious from the transcripts that it was based on Thurmond's support for Reagan and "State's Rights".
On this I agree, if the US didn't loose "State's Rights" in the 50's we would have a lot less problems today.
This whole thing is just political. Anyone who knows Lotts record cannot say he is any way shape or form Racist. And the many examples of Democrat gaffs go unmentioned, even when they are directly racist, get little mention by the cast of characters that are now pursuing Lott.
There is a lot of talk on the left that Trent Lott should resign, definatly not over this. This would be a sad day for America if this happens.

Understanding the US Tax System - Here is one of the best stories I've seen that explains how the US tax system and tax cuts work, enjoy!
I was having lunch with one of my favorite clients last week and the
conversation turned to the governments recent round of tax cuts. "I
am opposed to those tax cuts", a retired college instructor declared,
"because they benefit the rich. The rich get much more money back
than ordinary taxpayers like you and me, and that is not fair."
"But the rich pay more in the first place," I argued, "so it stands to
reason that they would get more money back." I could tell that my
friend was unimpressed by this meager argument. So I said to him, "lets put tax cuts in terms everyone can understand.
Suppose that every day 10 men go to a restaurant for dinner. The bill
for all ten comes to $100. If it was paid the way we pay our taxes, the
first four men would pay nothing; the fifth would pay $1; the sixth would pay
$3; the seventh $7; the eighth $12; the ninth $18. The tenth man (the
richest) would pay $59.
The 10 men ate dinner in the restaurant every day and seemed quite
happy with the arrangement until the owner threw them a curve. 'Since you
are all such good customers,' he said, 'I am going to reduce the cost of
your daily meal by $20. Now dinner for the 10 only costs $80.' (Tax cut)
The first four are unaffected. They still eat for free. Can you
figure out how to divvy up the $20 savings among the remaining six so that
everyone gets his fair share? The men realize that $20 divided by 6 is $3.33,
but if they subtract that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the
sixth man would end up being paid to eat their meal.
The restaurant owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each
man's bill by roughly the same percentage, being sure to give each a break,
and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay. Now, the fifth man
paid nothing, the sixth paid $2, the seventh paid $5, the eighth paid
$9, the ninth paid $12, leaving the tenth man with a bill of $52 instead of
$59.
Outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings. "I only
got a dollar out of the $20," complained the sixth man, pointing to
the tenth, "and he got $7."
"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar,
too.
Its unfair that he got seven times more than me!"
"That's true," shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $7 back
when I got only $2? The wealthy get all the breaks!"
"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison. "We didn't get
anything at all. The system exploits the poor.
The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.
The next night he didn't show up for dinner, so the nine sat down and
ate without him. When it came time to pay the bill, they discovered
they were $52 short!
And that, boys, girls and college instructors, is how Americas tax
system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from
a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they
just may not show up at the table any more; or maybe move to a better restaurant.

Bill Gates Speech - To anyone with kids of any age, or anyone who has ever been a kid, here's some advice Bill Gates recently dished out at a high school speech about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. Bill Gates tells it how it really is and how it reflects on the future reality that will come in their lives. Bill Gates should be applauded on this "Hitting-em'between-the-eyes" approach. The following is taken from a recent speech that Bill Gates gave to the students at Mount Whitney High School in Visalia, California. It is profound and pointed as to what reality today's graduating seniors must face and not the world of fantasy that that has been ingrained in the susceptible and plastic minds of today's youth in many of the nation's schools. For the older generation it is worthwhile reading. For today's young generation it is worthwhile believing. Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! Bill Gates talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world. This could be called "The Bill Gates Doctrine of Future Reality".

How to ruin America - Ben Stein has an
article over at Yahoo about how to ruin America. Looks like he is just re-iterating what is happining to us now, as every one of his points is covered in modern America and played out in our schools.
This is not America, what it stands for, what it was. Joe Guzzardi from the Lodi News-Sentinel had this
story that describes accuratly what older Americans think of what we have become:
Let me share my own example of what I consider a deserving case. A few years ago, I wanted to buy walnuts in bulk. I searched the classified ads until I found an address in a nearby town.
When I located the house, I walked to the shed out back. There, an elderly couple sat shelling walnuts. They recognized my picture from the Lodi News-Sentinel and invited me into their house.
On their walls were photographs, medals and citations from World War II. Both had been heroes; he in the Battle of the Bulge and she in the Pacific.
Over the years, I’ve had dozens of visits in that living room. Once, around Veterans Day, I said, “Well, you must be very proud of what you did for your country.”
And in reply the gentleman said, “It just doesn’t matter much anymore, does it?”

The San Jose Airport Sucks as bad as SFO - Or what is the best airport in the SF Bay Area
Just got back from a whirlwind trip to RTP (Research Triangle Park). Usually when I go on these trips I fly out of Oakland for the convenience of parking, crowds, and getting in and out. But this time I flew out of San Jose’s terminal A because the rest of the crew that I was going with hailed out of San Jose.
First of if your going to fly out of San Jose add a half hour to how early you have to be there. The parking lot is one half mile away from the terminal. Then pray you can catch a bus in a reasonable amount of time. Since I have never flown from terminal A nor parked in the long-term lot I didn’t know the obvious tip to reduce the bus ride, but I’ll give it to you here. The parking lot is divided up into sections A to J, you want park in the sections closest to J (A and J are close to each other). Say if you park in A, you want to walk to the J bus stop (in most cases) since the trip from A to J can be another 10 to 15 minuets.
Once you get into the terminal the security lines can be long, so add time for this also. They are not as bad as SFO, but close.
This trip re-enforced my view that Oakland is by far the best airport to fly out of in the Bay Area. It is easy to get in and out of, it has the best/cheapest parking. And the security lines are the shortest.

The Fall of Western Civilization will be it's birth rate - immigration and social policies.
A lot of people don't seem to like like Pat Buchanan for a number of reasons. But his book
Death of the West is a must read. Many of the themes laid out in the book are trending true.
Unless the trend changes I predict the following in the next 40 years:
- China will absorb/take over much of Siberia through illegal immigration infiltration. Extending its power the same way it has expanded over the last 2000 years.
- Europe will trend Muslim through mass immigration to support the socialist infrastructure of parts of Europe, and at least one country could fall under islamic rule.
- WWIII will be fought in Europe.
Sam Frances has an
interesting take on it:
"..As the white European birth rate falls while that of Third World immigrants to Europe rises, the Muslims know very well whose continent Europe will soon become. It's the Europeans who don't have a clue.."

The CEO of Pfizer, the drug company who makes Viagra,

whining

low-cost drugs into this country from Canada.
A quick examiniation of the H1-B database shows
that Pfizer has imported hundreds of people in

"Research Scientist II", and "Senior Manager,
Business Development". I wonder: How many of
them are from Canada?
Until now, I was somewhat sympathetic to their
arguments the we should not import price controls

attitude is now this:
Whosoever lives by the low-cost imports,
dies by the low-cost imports.
I am now in favor of unrestricted re-imports
of drugs from Canada.

Maoist Democracy - "Maoist Democracy": A political system in which
everybody who is carrying a gun gets to vote.
Named after Mao's dictum that "Political Power
Comes Out of the Barrel of a Gun". This system
is not widely used, because elections tend to
involve a lot of killing.
Usage: Good thing that we don't practice Maoist Democracy,
like they're doing in Liberia.
A Tip of the hat to Dave D'rave for this one.(view)
A Marine's letter home..... -
Dear Dad,
A funny thing happened to me yesterday at Camp Bondsteel (Bosnia): A French army officer walked up to me in the PX, and told me he thought we (Americans) were a bunch of cowboys and were going to provoke a war in Iraq. He said if such a thing happens, we wouldn't be able to count on the support of France.
I told him that it didn't surprise me. Since we had come to France's rescue in World War I, World War II, Vietnam, and the Cold War, their ingratitude and jealousy was due to surface [again] at some point in the near future anyway. I also told him that is why France is a third-rate military power with a socialist economy and a bunch of pansies for soldiers. I additionally told him that America, being a nation of deeds and action, not words, would do whatever it had to do, and France's support, if it ever came, was only for show anyway.
Just like in ALL NATO exercises, the US would shoulder 85% of the burden, and provide 85% of the support, as evidenced by the fact that this French officer was shopping in the American PX, and not the other way around.
He began to get belligerent at that point, and I told him if he would like to, I would meet him outside in front of the Burger King and whip his ass in front of the entire Multinational Brigade East, thus demonstrating that even the smallest American had more fight in him than the average Frenchman. He called me a barbarian cowboy and walked away in a huff.
With friends like these, who needs enemies?
Dad, tell Mom I love her,
Your loving daughter,
Mary Beth Johnson Lt Col., USMC

Why the world fears the USA - I came across
this by Kris Murray in response to newsweeks
article here.
...The author touched upon America’s ability to crush the Taliban swiftly in the Afghan war, a place where other great empires (Russia & Britain) had failed. We did not.
We won not because we are a huge superpower so much as we were liberators. We came in, we exacted justice, we are rebuilding. That we won so easily is what has scared so many countries. We had been so nice and low-key for so long, they lost sight of how powerful America is. The other countries were hoping we would, maybe not fail but, struggle more. They fear us not because we are bad, but because we succeeded too easily. But again, let me underscore that unlike previous countries, we were liberators (ultimately) in Afghanistan, not conquerors.
What many these other countries don’t understand is that America doesn’t do things the way Islamic fundamentalists and left-leaning socialist countries would. If we really wanted to “rule the world”, Peru, Mexico, and Venezuela would have been American states ages ago. That said, it floors me when Europe actually expects the US to give up its sovereignty to an international body. They call us arrogant when they clearly think the US is too stupid to see through their Kyoto Treaty stunt, amongst others.
I think she has hit it right on the head. You should read the whole thing.

The Plan - This came in Email Today
Da Plan, Da Plan,
I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of one PLAN for peace. "Books, not Bombs" won't work. The head mullahs won't let anyone read them If they do, they poke their eyes out.
Here's the plan:
- The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini and the rest of them good old boys'. We will never "interfere" again.
- We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting
with Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No more sneaking through holes in the fence.
- All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where they are. France would welcome them.
- All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation would be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself, don't hide here. Asylum would not ever be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers.
- No "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If
they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

Speak English - There is a gentleman who is an officer in the naval reserve. A few weeks ago, he was attending a conference that included admirals in both the US and the French navies. At a cocktail reception, my friend found himself in a small group that included an admiral from each of the two navies.
The French admiral started complaining that whereas Europeans learned many languages, Americans only learned English. He then asked. "Why is it that we have to speak English in these conferences rather than you have to speak French?"
Without even hesitating, the American admiral replied. "Maybe it is because we arranged it so that you did not have to learn to speak German." The group became silent.(view)
Osama letter to his cavemates... - I found this in the archives of some CIA intelligence files that I’ve acquired :
----- Original Message -----

Subject: The Cave
Hi guys. We've all been putting in long hours but we've really come
together as a group and I love that. Big thanks to Omar for putting up the
poster that says "There is no I in team" as well as the one that says "Hang
In There, Baby." That cat is hilarious. However, while we are fighting a
jihad, we can't forget to take care of the cave. And frankly I have a few
concerns.
First of all, while it's good to be concerned about cruise missiles, we
should be even more concerned about the scorpions in our cave. Hey, you
don't want to be stung and neither do I, so we need to sweep the cave
daily. I've posted a sign-up sheet near the main cave opening.
Second, it's not often I make a video address but when I do, I'm trying to
scare the most powerful country on earth, okay? That means that while we're
taping, please do not ride your razor scooter in the background. Just while
we're taping. Thanks.
Third point, and this is a touchy one. As you know, by edict, we're not
supposed to shave our beards. But I need everyone to just think hygiene,
especially after mealtime. We're all in this together.
Fourth: food. I bought a box of Cheez-Its recently, clearly wrote "Osama"
on the front, and put it on the top shelf. Today, my Cheez-Its were gone.
Consideration. That's all I'm saying.
Finally, we've heard that there may be American soldiers in disguise trying
to infiltrate our ranks. I want to set up patrols to look for them.
First patrol will be Omar, Muhammed, Abdul, Akbar, and Richard.
Love you lots.
Osama

Patriot's Act, Montana Style - This from Sierra Times
...NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
That Congress be urged to pass a law named "The Terrorist-Free America Act" in recognition of the nation's rich and proper history of self-reliance and the importance of applying that philosophy of self-reliance to help defend these United States against terrorist acts. The act by Congress is recommended to contain the following features:
(1) The people of these United States are exhorted to participate individually in the war on terrorism.
(2) The participation of individual people in interdicting acts of terrorism should be both passive, such as being observant, and active, such as individual acts of contention and interdiction against any terrorists attempting to commit a terrorist act.
(3) Individual people participating in the prevention of acts of terrorism must not be prevented from having at hand the tools necessary for such prevention, especially firearms, by the federal government, any state or local government, or any subdivision of these governments.
(4) Individual people assisting in prevention of terrorist acts must be exempted from criminal and civil liability arising out of such preventative acts, according to established and standard doctrine for allowable uses of lethal force.
(5) Medals and citations of award should be created to honor and reward individuals who materially serve their country by preventing any act of terrorism on United States soil.

Killing with cellphones - While drivers are distracted in all the ways described in
this article
cell phones are definably responsible for 95% of the distracted drivers. Every day during commute I see cars that are all over the road, 99% of the time when I get close enough to see the driver, they are on the cell phone.
A hands free cellphone law makes sense since it is enforceable and will make a difference, much like the seatbelt law. You cannot make a law the outlaws changing your radio station or yelling at your kids because it is un-enforceable and on top of that the benefit of such a law would be very small compared to a cellphone law.
BTW, you have much more of a chance to be killed by a cellphone using driver than a gun under any circumstances.

Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.) - see bottom.
Money shot quote "I don't need Bush's tax cut. I have never worked a [bleeping] day in my life."
He sounds more like a frenchman than an american. Maybe they will take him off our hands for us.
